El nuevo disco de los americanos QUEENSRYCHE se titula "American Soldier" y verá la luz el 31 de Marzo. Hasta entonces, iremos conociendo más detalles sobre el concepto en el que se basa y sus implicaciones emocionales.

Este álbum mostrará, a lo largo de doce temas, las visiones de un soldado durnte la guerra. Para documentarse sobre ello y escribir las canciones de manera más realista, Geoff Tate, cantante y escritor de la banda, ha conversado con veteranos de guerra, desde la Segunda Guerra Mundial, hasta el reciente conflicto en Irak.

La idea de hablar sobre este tema viene porque el propio padre de Tate estuvo en las guerras de Vietnam y Korea. En "American Soldier" se evocarán batallas ("Middle Of Hell"), sacrificios ("The Killer"), derrotas y pérdidas ("If I Were King"), la distancia con su casa ("Remember Me"), y la reincorporacion ala sociedad tras volver del conflicto ("Man Down!").
